Ashleigh’s Story
Ashleigh Collins was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where her creativity and drive started to take shape. After becoming a mother, she discovered an even deeper passion for entrepreneurship and creating a future built on purpose, independence, and legacy.
For the past 10 years, Ashleigh has worked as an entrepreneur, growing her skills in video creation, podcasting, and blending technology with graphic arts. Her journey has been shaped by her love for storytelling and her desire to create meaningful content that uplifts others.
Ashleigh credits much of her success to her mother, whose love, guidance, and example taught her the importance of hard work, resilience, faith, and believing in herself. Those lessons continue to guide her as she builds her own business, Kyngs & Queens
Through her platform, Ashleigh uses media, creativity, and real conversations to inspire others, amplify voices, and bring powerful stories to life.
Jamal’s Story
Dr. Jamal K. Bowen was born in Washington, D.C., to Liberian parents and raised in Denver, Colorado. His upbringing, family values, and Liberian heritage shaped his passion for education, entrepreneurship, leadership, and community empowerment.
His siblings and sons have been a strong source of support and inspiration, encouraging the work he does to serve others and create opportunities for the community.
As an educator, entrepreneur, and community leader, Dr. Bowen is committed to helping individuals turn ideas into sustainable opportunities. His work focuses on developing leaders, supporting entrepreneurs, and building pathways that strengthen families, businesses, and communities.
None of this would be possible without my mother, Daphne Dennis her unwavering encouragement and countless sacrifices shaped me into the man I am today.
Our Relationship
Ashleigh and Jamal Bowen’s love story began long before they knew what their future would hold. They first met in middle school, crossing paths at a young age and creating a connection that life would later bring full circle.
Years passed, life moved forward, and they each continued to grow into the people they were meant to become. Then, later in life, Ashleigh and Jamal reconnected and this time, the timing was right. What began as a familiar connection grew into a deeper bond built on love, friendship, faith, respect,
and shared purpose.
Since 2017, Ashleigh and Jamal have been together, building a beautiful life side by side. Their love has also been strengthened through family, especially through their sons, Da’Jonte, Nassir, and Amir, who are a meaningful part of their journey and the legacy they continue to build together.
Their relationship is a reminder that true love can find its way back, even after time and distance. From middle school memories to a lifelong partnership, Ashleigh and Jamal’s story reflects patience, growth, family, faith, and the blessing of reconnecting with someone who was always meant to be part of the journey.
Together, Ashleigh and Jamal continue to build a love rooted in commitment, purpose, and the future they are creating as one family.
